The contest turned out to be a TON more work than I expected, but it’s been fun. And my hope is that it’s been fun for visitors and beneficial to the Derek entrants as well. Speaking of the Dereks, there’s been a bit of exposure for them - for example:

• Montpeyroux & Co. expressed interest in several Dereks for the following sites/products: www.myspace.com/thecoolwine, www.donedhardy.com, and www.christianaudigier.com.
• Third place winner, Chris Winters, got exposure on celebrity blogger’s Bumpshack’s blog.

And while the contest is over, don’t go away, as there’s a bit more to come. I will be conducting live interviews with some of the judges in upcoming months. Schedules are really hectic with the judges, then throw the holidays into the mix … but I’m hoping to be able to interview as many of them as I can.
